aShareX is a startup that developed an SEC-validated approach to make it accessible for everyone to invest in alternative asset classes like fine art via auction. Through aShareX, individuals become “fractional investors,” contributing a portion of the cost to invest in exchange for a percentage of asset ownership. Our task was to design, prototype, test and build a fractional auction platform. As the product strategist and delivery lead, I oversaw a team of researchers, engineers and designers to create, test and launch a platform that would allow for real-time user interactions with live, fast-paced auctions. We designed and built an end-to-end customer experience from the marketing website to investor payment and fulfillment.
